5.1 | Disconnect electrical connector (2) from overhead control panel control module (N70) | Only on vehicles with code (876) Interior light package | |
6 | Unclip A-pillar paneling (1) with mounting wedge | Position mounting wedge directly to clip (3). | |

Installation: Check clip (3), replace if necessary. | |||
7 | Remove A-pillar paneling (1) upward from instrument panel guide (arrow) | Installation: Ensure that all gaskets are positioned properly in the entire area of the A-pillar paneling (1). | |
8.1 | Remove counterbearing (4) from A-pillar paneling (1). | Only when replacing A-pillar paneling (1) | |
9.1 | Remove left front make-up mirror lamp (E14/6) or right front make-up mirror lamp (E14/7) from A-pillar paneling (1) together with wiring harness (5). | Only when replacing A-pillar paneling (1) and only on vehicles with code (876) Interior light package. | |
10 | Install in the reverse order |
