Remove/install

Unclip A-pillar trim panel (6) and pivot upward toward inside

 Do not remove A-pillar trim panel (6) completely.

 Installation: Ensure that edge guard is seated correctly in area of A-pillar paneling (6).

 Mounting wedge

Remove caps (10)

Unscrew bolts (2) and remove stowage box/tray with sun visor (3)

 Bolt, stowage box/tray to bracket

Unscrew bolts (4) and remove stowage box/tray (5)

 Bolt, stowage box/tray to bracket

Unclip dome lamp with front switch (E15/1) and pull out until electrical connector is accessible

 Mounting wedge

Disconnect electrical connector and remove dome lap from front switch (E15/1)

Remove left B-pillar paneling (7)

Remove support rod (8)

Unclip front headliner (1) and guide out of vehicle interior

 Helper required.

 Installation: Ensure that edge guard is seated correctly in area of front headliner (1).

 Mounting wedge

Check

Check retaining clips on front headliner (1) for damage.

for damage



Replace retaining clip.

Install in the reverse order
