Remove cover on center console

Remove ashtray from front center console

Installation: Check ashtray housing mechanism for proper function, if necessary loosen threaded connection of center console bottom section (6) and tighten center console bottom section (6) without tension.

Disconnect connectors (1) (X39/37, X39/48)

Remove bolt (2)

Carefully unclip center console upper section (3) upward.

Risk of fracturing!

Press in long wedge directly at clips (arrow).

Disconnect connectors (4)

Remove brackets (5) for connectors from center console lower section (6)

Remove bolts (7)

Installation:Ensure that center console bottom section (6) is installed without tension.

Remove center console lower section (6) upward

10

Install in the reverse order

Remove/install center console
