Removal, installation

Disconnect ground lead from battery

Remove ashtray flaps with radio flap and installation frame

Remove covers from instrument cluster (GI)

Installation:

Insert retaining wedge for instrument cluster (GI) cover precisely in retaining clips.

Pull out vent nozzle (1) on left and right

Pull out vent nozzle with suitable hook.

Remove covering (2)

Installation:

insert retaining wedges for covering precisely in retaining clips.

Remove switch panel cover for heater and function switches (3)

Unscrew retaining screws for switch
frame (4)

Unscrew retaining screws for dashboard center section (arrows)

Move switch panel inward

Pull covering out slightly

Disconnect connectors from socket and temperature sensor

Remove covering

13

Reinstall in opposite order
