	Initial test
1	Connect diagnostic system, start XENTRY and perform quick test.	 Before the start of the work procedure, the fault memory of the electronic systems must be read out.
2	Remove vehicle diagnosis system.
 	Remove/install
3	Switch off ignition.
4	Remove center console (15).		AR68.20-W-2000H
5	Remove trim (2).
6	Remove trim (1).
7	Remove instrument cluster control unit.		AR54.30-W-7100H
8	Remove Truck Control Center.		AR82.60-W-7800H
9	Remove stowage box/tray (13).	If installed.
10	Remove HVAC control unit.		AR83.20-W-2000H
11	Remove hazard warning lights switch module.		AR54.25-W-3280H
12	Remove parking brake lever control unit.		AR42.20-W-0100F
13	Remove switch module in cover (16).		AR54.25-W-3280H
		 In the above figure, only instrument panel switch module 1 is installed.
14	Remove cover (16).	 Together with possibly installed stowage spaces.
15	Remove cover (14); in this connection, disconnect electrical connectors.	 With installed start/stop button and if necessary additional electrical component parts.
16	Remove air vent (19) at driver's side.		AR83.10-W-4501H
17	Remove footwell cover on right and left at driver's side.		AR68.30-W-1310H
18	Remove footwell cover (18) in the left center footwell.
19	Remove trim (12).
20	Remove trim (17).
21	Remove trim strips (6, 10).
22	Remove lower trim (9) for instrument panel on front passenger side.		AR68.10-W-1502H
23	Remove upper trim (5) for instrument panel at front passenger side.		AR68.10-W-3435H
24	Remove folding table.	Only for vehicle with code D7V (table, on the front passenger side).

25	Remove air vent (7) at front passenger side.		AR83.10-W-4502H
26	Remove footwell cover (8).
27	Remove stowage compartment (4).	 Air vent (3) must not be removed. It is secured with retaining lugs on stowage box/tray (4).
28	Remove trim (11).
29	Remove carrier frame (21).
30	Remove instrument panel support (20).
31	Remove glove compartment (22).
32	Install in the reverse order
	Final test
33	Connect diagnostic system, start XENTRY and perform quick test.	 After the end of the work procedure, the fault memory of the electronic systems must be read out again. No faults may have occurred.
34	Remove vehicle diagnosis system.
