Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Disconnect ground line from battery.

Remove door sill.

Remove side cover from center console.

Open glove compartment (1).

Remove telephone control unit.

Remove screw/bolts (2) .

Remove screw/bolts (3).

Remove expansion rivet (4).

Remove screws (5) below the glove compartment (1).

Pull out glove compartment (1) until the electrical connectors (6, 7) are accessible.

Disconnect electrical connectors (6).

Disconnect electrical connector (7) of the front passenger knee airbag.

Remove front passenger knee airbag.

When replacing glove compartment (1).

Install in the reverse order.
