Remove/install

Unclip paneling (2) from retaining clips with mounting wedge and remove

Unscrew bolt (3)

Remove cover below dashboard on right

Remove bolts (4)

Open glove compartment lid and unclip cover (5) from dashboard with mounting wedge.

Unscrew bolts (6, 7)

Pull glove box (1) out of dashboard until electrical connectors (8) are accessible.

Disconnect electrical connectors (8) from glove compartment illumination with switch (E13/2)

Detach vent hose (9)

Unhinge Bowden cable (10)

Installation: Ensure that Bowden cable (10) can move freely.

Remove Walkman separation point (X39/45) from glove box (1)

On vehicles without code (518) Media interface

Install in the reverse order

Remove/install glove box

Mounting wedge
