Check whether stone chipping is in field of vision of driver (S).
Do not repair stone marks in field of vision of driver (S). A stone chipping repair in the field of vision of driver (S) is legally prohibited.
The field of vision of the driver (S) is as follows: The imaginary center line (M) is formed by the center point of sight of the driver (head restraint center line) to the center of the steering wheel, parallel to the vehicle longitudinal axis. Measure in both directions starting 14.5 cm (A) from the imaginary center line (M). The field of vision of the driver (S) is restricted at the top and bottom by the windshield wipe pattern.

Check the stone chipping repair set (1) for completeness, shelf life and functional capability.
Only perform stone chipping repair if stone chipping is located outside the field of vision of driver (S), the stone chipping repair set (1) is complete and functionally capable and the shelf life date has not been exceeded.
Do not perform stone chipping repair where repair point is exposed to direct sunlight. Premature curing of the repair resin (2r) will otherwise occur.
