The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side in the event of damage.
The following commercially available tools are required to perform operation steps: rotary wire brush, multifunction unit (spot welding).

Drill antenna hole in new side roof paneling (1).


Ensure unit is seated correctly.
Otherwise it may be leaky or fit incorrectly


Transfer installation position from damaged component, if necessary fabricate template from damaged component.

Remove bracket (2) on headliner from damaged component.

Install bracket (2) on headliner in new side roof paneling (1) and .


transfer installation position from damaged component.

Grind mating surfaces on side roof paneling (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.


Sand spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.
