1 Scribe separation point on side roof paneling (1) (area A).
Transfer separation point from vehicle.
2 Cut side roof paneling (1) at separation point (area A).
3 Remove section from side roof paneling (1).
4 Grind mating surfaces on side roof paneling (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.
Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides.
5 Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
Do not coat bonding surfaces bonding surfaces on both sides with zinc dust paint in area E.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.
