The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side in the event of damage.
The following commercially available tools are required to perform operation steps: vise grip pliers (standard), multifunction unit (spot welding), MIG-MAG inert gas welder (steel, solder, aluminum), rotary wire brush, wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

Install outer sidewall

Apply body sealant (areas AA and AB).


Apply sealant bead immediately before installing new outer side wall.

Install outer sidewall

Install outer side wall (1), fit and fix in place.

Outer side wall (1) (area B).

Outer side wall (1) (area A).

Outer side wall (1) (areas D to F).

Outer side wall (1) (areas C and G).

Grind weld joint down flat.

Clean weld joints.



9

Remove shavings and drill chips.
