The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. This must be similarly performed for damage to the right side of the vehicle.

1 | Install outer rear wheel well (2), fit, and fix in place. |
2 | Drill rivet holes in outer rear wheel well (2) with a diameter of 6.7 mm (areas G). |
3 | Remove outer rear wheel well (2). |
4 | Deburr outer rear wheel well (2) and body on both sides. |
5 | Remove drilling chips. |
6 | Coat insides of rivet holes with zinc dust paint . |
7 | Apply 2-component adhesive in cross-hatched areas on outer rear wheel well (2). |
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive. |

8 | Install outer rear wheel well (2), fit, and fix in place. |
9 | Rivet outer rear wheel well (2) with 6.4x12 mm rivets (areas I). |
10 | Outer rear wheel well (2) (areas H). |
11 | Flatten down fixing lug (3). |
12 | Install side wall reinforcement (1), fit, and fix in place. |
13 | Drill rivet holes in side wall reinforcement (1) with a diameter of 6.7 mm (area J). |
14 | Remove side wall reinforcement (1). |
15 | Deburr rivet holes on side wall reinforcement (1) and body on both sides. |
16 | Remove drilling chips. |
17 | Coat insides of rivet holes with zinc dust paint . |

18 | Install side wall reinforcement (1), fit, and fix in place. |
19 | Rivet side wall reinforcement (1) with 6.4x12 mm rivets (area K). |
