1 | Move seat backrest of left or right front seat forwards. | See Operating Instructions | |
2 | Loosen edge guard (1) up to entrance paneling (2). | Installation: Ensure that edge guard (1) is seated properly. | |
3 | Loosen rear paneling (3) until left door contact switch (S17/3) or right door contact switch (S17/4) is accessible from the inside. | ||
4 | Lift sound deadening mat (4) until wiring harness of left door contact switch (S17/3) or right door contact switch (S17/4) is exposed. | Installation: Secure wiring harness of left door contact switch (S17/3) or right door contact switch (S17/4) with the self-adhesive sound deadening mat (4). | |
5 | Unclip left door contact switch (S17/3) or right door contact switch (S17/4) and remove from B-pillar. | | |
6 | Unplug electrical connector (5) and remove left door contact switch (S17/3) or right door contact switch (S17/4). | ||
7 | Install in the reverse order |
