S17/5 Left rear door contact switch

Remove/Install

Using a long wedge, unclip left rear door contact switch (S17/5) or right rear door contact switch (S17/6) from C-pillar (1)

Do not unclip left rear door contact switch (S17/5) or right rear door contact switch (S17/6) using a sharp-edged tool (e.g. screwdriver). Risk of paint damage on C-pillar (1).

Long wedge must not be too blunt and must be applied vertically from above at top corner (arrow) of left rear door contact switch (S17/5) or right rear door contact switch (S17/6).

Unplug electrical connector (2) and remove left rear door contact switch (S17/5) or right rear door contact switch (S17/6).

Install in the reverse order
