Pour AdBlue into suitable containers only. Wait until the pressure is released before starting any work on the exhaust aftertreatment system.

Dirt can get into the interior coverings otherwise.

Release and disconnect electrical connections (1)

Detach rubber grommet (2) and guide with connected lines in downward direction through opening in body

Release and disconnect electrical connection (3)

Push plug (4) against connection on AdBlue® tank, press together catch tabs at plug (4) and remove plug (4)

 Plug openings.

Clean connections and their environment with suitable means

Lift vehicle on vehicle lift

Remove screws/bolts (5)

Secure cover of AdBlue® tank against falling down and unscrew nuts (6, 7)

Lower cover of AdBlue® tank until electrical connector of tire pressure monitoring control unit (N88) can be accessed; release and disconnect electrical connector and expose electrical wiring harness

 Installation: Ensure correct seat of dampings (9).

 During lowering, unclip AdBlue® line from its upper guide on AdBlue® tank.

Write fill level of AdBlue® tank by means of vehicle diagnosis system in AdBlue® control unit
