1 | Slacken exhaust clamp (1) | Installation: Check condition of exhaust pipe clamp (1), replace if necessary | |
2 | Unhinge exhaust rubber (2) at tailpipe (3) | Installation: Check exhaust rubber (2) for damage, replace if necessary | |
3 | Remove tailpipe (3) | Installation: If necessary align tailpipe (3). | |
4 | Install in the reverse order | ||
Danger! | Risk of accident as vehicle may start off by itself with the engine running. Risk of injury as working around the engine during start-up or while running may result in contusions and burns | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving. | |
5 | Check leaktightness of exhaust system when engine is running | Visual inspection. |
