The diagnostic system must have been connected for this purpose.
Check the battery management system control unit
1 | Establish communication with battery management system control unit. |
2 | In the battery management system control unit, select the menu item "Fault codes and events" and read out the fault memory. |
Possible existing fault codes: |
3 | Evaluating fault codes. |
If the listed fault code (P0AA700) is currently present, |
|
perform the insulation resistance measurement in the battery management system (beneath actuations). |
If the measurement result is OK, the fault code (P0AA700) can be ignored. |
If the listed fault code is currently (P0AA700) or (P0A1F00) or (P0A7E00) or (P142900), |
|
there is an internal fault, and thus safe transportation of the high-voltage battery module is no longer permissible. |
If the listed fault code (P0E7400) is currently present or has been saved, |
|
there is an insulation fault, and thus safe transportation of the high-voltage battery module is no longer permissible. |
If the listed fault code is currently (P0AA100) or (P0AA400), |
|
safe transportation of the high-voltage battery module is permissible with due regard to all other assessment criteria, provided that the high-voltage plugs are fitted with voltage-proof covers and these are also fixed in place with fabric tape. |
If both listed fault codes are currently (P0AA100) and (P0AA400), |
|
safe transport of the high-voltage battery module is no longer permissible. |
If, due to the fault code, safe transport of the high-voltage battery module is no longer permissible, |
|
contact the relevant MPC/the general representative immediately. |
