| Remove/install | ||
1 | Pull drain plug dummy cover (1) from drain plug | ||
2 | Drain fuel from the fuel tank by removing the drain nut (2) at the bottom of the tank | Installation: By using 19 mm hexagonal socket and torque wrench. | |
Seal the container properly to prevent dust entering | |||
3 | Remove the electrical connector (3) from wiring harness | ||
4 | Press the lock and remove fuel outlet (4) and return line (5) from metering unit | ||
5 | Remove breather hose (6) from metering unit and hose routing | Never damage the breather hose mounting on the fuel metering unit while removing. | |
6 | Remove both fuel retaining strap and mounting nuts (7) and rubber support (8) | ||
7 | Remove the locking clip (9) and pull out the clamping pin (15) from both retaining strap ends | ||
8 | Remove fuel tank (10) with the help of crane and belt (11) | ||
9 | Remove the bottom rubber support (12) from bracket | ||
10 | Remove both fuel tank mounting bracket bolts and nuts (13) 2nos of each from bracket | Installation: By using 21mm hexagonal socket and torque wrench. | |
11 | Remove both fuel tank mounting bracket (14) from chassis | Installation: By using 21mm hexagonal socket and torque wrench. | |
12 | Install in the reverse order |
