4 | Unscrew nut (3) and remove ground line (4) | ||
5.1 | Remove rear underfloor paneling | Model 453.3 with engine 281 | |

6 | Remove diagonal strut and cross strut at the rear | Model 453.4 with engine 281 | |
7 | Unlock vent line (5) on activated charcoal canister (6) and detach | ||
8 | Remove electrical connection (7) from undercarriage and separate | ||
9 | Unclip fuel line (8) on undercarriage | ||
10 | Disconnect fuel line (8) from coupling connection (9) | ||
11 | Support fuel tank (10) with a telescopic lifter and removal fixture | ||

12 | Remove screw/bolts (11) and lower fuel tank (10) until the electrical line (12) is accessible | Bolt, fuel tank to body | |
13 | Unclip electrical line (12) from fuel tank (10) | ||
14 | Lower fuel tank (10) while leading the filler neck (2) out of the wheel well at the right rear | Helper required. | |
15 | Remove fuel tank (10) | Helper required. | |
16 | Install in the reverse order | ||
