3 | Remove end cover (1) of body | ||
4 | Disconnect plug in electrical plug connection (2) on fuel level sensor, left half of tank (B4/1) | ||
5 | Detach hand brake cable (4) at relay lever (5) | ||
6 | Pull outer cable (6) out of fixture | Press together two retaining tabs (arrows) for this step. | |
7 | Remove fender liner (7) on the right rear | ||
8 | Take off hose clamps (8) | Installation: Check hose clamps (8) for damage, replace if necessary. | |
9 | Detach fuel hoses (9) | In the event of fixed fuel lines (9) cut these with a knife and then detach. There is otherwise risk of fixed fuel lines (9) shearing off the connections at the fuel tank (17). | |
10 | Remove bolt (10) on filler pipe (11) | ||
11 | Remove floor coverings (12) | ||
12 | Detach fuel line (13) on fuel pipe (14) | Clamp off feed hose (13). | |
Installation: Check hose clamp (15) and fuel hose (13) for damage, replace if necessary. | |||
