Only pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Empty/fill fuel tank

Pay attention to fuel quantity.

Remove trim panel of fuel tank as well as right side trim panel of trunk

Detach fuel line suction side (90/12), fuel return line (90/11) and vent line (92)

Collect remaining fuel, seal connections.

Remove bearing bracket (78) of ski bag mount

Only for vehicles with code (282) Ski bag (through-loading feature)

Take out fuel tank (80)

Check sound insulation strip (80/4)

If necessary replace. Stick on sound insulation strip (self-adhesive).

Remove fuel strainer (26)

Clean and inspect whether part can be re-used.

The splash bowl in the fuel tank is secured against turning with 2 pins. It is attached together with the fuel strainer (26).

Replace O-ring (26/1)

Oil to facilitate installation.

Install in the reverse order
