Remove/install pressure limiting valve

Removing

1 Remove pressure limiting valve (1).

Loosen and tighten the pressure limiting valve only at the wrench flats (arrow) on the main body.

2 Remove sealing rings.

Install

3 Place new sealing rings on pressure limiting valve (1) and moisten with steering gear oil.

Use the steering gear oil (ATF) as per
the specifications for operating fluids (sheet 236).

4 Screw in pressure limiting valve (1).

Loosen and tighten the pressure limiting valve only at the wrench flats (arrow) on the main body.
