Removing

Relieve pressure in hydraulic system

Clean hydraulic control block (Y67) and area around it

Disconnect connectors (1, 2) from hydraulic control block (Y67)

Remove oil reservoir (9) and dispose of steering gear oil properly

Make sure that no foreign objects can enter the hydraulic system.

Detach swivel fitting of hydraulic line (3) from hydraulic control block (Y67)

Collect steering gear oil which flows out.

Detach hydraulic line (4, 5, 6); counterhold fitting at hydraulic control block (Y67)

Collect steering gear oil which flows out.

Unscrew bolts (7) and nuts (8) and remove hydraulic control block (Y67)

Install

Place oil reservoir (9) with new seal on hydraulic control block (Y67); pay attention to anti-twist lock.
Screw in bolts (10)

Make sure that no foreign objects can enter the hydraulic system.

Install hydraulic control block (Y67)

Place swivel fitting of hydraulic line (3) and hydraulic lines (4, 5, 6) on hydraulic control block (Y67)

Make sure that no foreign objects can enter the hydraulic system.

Tighten bolts (7) and nuts (8) on hydraulic control block (Y67)

Tighten swivel fitting of hydraulic line (3) and hydraulic lines (4, 5, 6); counterhold fitting at hydraulic control block (Y67) if necessary

Bleed hydraulic system for auxiliary steering axle

Conduct a road test

Check that the entire system functions correctly.
