1 | Remove steering wheel | ||
2 | Remove center stowage compartment (1) | Installation: Install center stowage compartment (1) after the function test. | |
3 | Push steering column approx. 30 cm to the right | See operator's manual. | |
4 | Remove panel (2) | ||
5 | Push steering column to the left in the drive position | ||
6 | Unscrew nut (8) and remove lift solenoid (6) | ||
7 | Remove screw/bolt on electrical connector (5) and disconnect electrical connector (5) | ||
8 | Unscrew nut (9) at lift solenoid (6) | Only if lift solenoid (6) is replaced. | |

9 | Screw on nut (9) at lift solenoid (6) | Only if lift solenoid (6) is replaced. | |
10 | Connect electrical connector (5) at lift solenoid (6) and screw in screw/bolt at electrical connector (5) | ||
11 | Mount lift solenoid (6) at steering column and screw on nut (8) | ||
Adjust | |||
12 | Turn over operating lever (7) downward all the way | ||
13 | Adjust clearance between shackle (7.1) and end face of lift solenoid (6) by twisting nuts (8, 9) to a dimension of approx. 1 mm | ||
14 | Press switching contact (4.1) against locking pin (6.1) of lift solenoid (6) and, at the same time, pull operating lever (7) upward | ||
15 | Tighten nuts (8, 9) uniformly | ||
16 | Turn over operating lever (7) downward all the way | ||
17 | Adjust start enable microswitch (4) | ||
18 | Press switching contact (4.1) against locking pin (6.1) of lift solenoid (6) and, at the same time, pull operating lever (7) upward | ||
19 | Push steering column approx. 30 cm to the right | ||
20 | Install paneling (2) | ||
21 | Push steering column to the left in the drive position and turn over operating lever (7) downward all the way | ||
22 | Install steering wheel | ||
| Check | ||
23 | Perform an operation check on the transferable steering | ||
24 | Install center stowage compartment (1) |
