Remove/install lock cylinder at steering lock

1 Steering column jacket

2 Securing cover

5 Cap

6 Lock barrel

3 Transponder winding

4 Ignition key

Remove/install

Take off securing cover (2) of central electrics

Take off steering column cover (1)

Installation: Pay attention to cables routed under the steering column cover. Do not pinch leads.

Press transponder coil (3) off ignition lock

Insert ignition key (4) into ignition lock

5

Turn ignition key (4) to the first detent

6

Turn cap (5) a 1/4 turn to the left

7

Pull cap (5) together with lock cylinder (6) off ignition lock

8

Install in the reverse order
