| Remove and install | ||
1 | Switch off the main switch or disconnect the battery negative cable | Loosen the cable screw on the chassis, prevent the loosening on battery terminals. | |
2 | De-pressurize the pneumatic system | ||
3 | Loosen the screws (5). | ||
4 | Remove the cover (6). | Set the parking brake lever and the semi-trailer brake to an optimum position so as to facilitate its removal. | |
5 | Unplug the electrical plugs from auxiliary 12 V plug socket (3) and switch off the side mirrors control switch (4). | ||
6 | Remove pneumatic pipes. | Install: Check for tightness. | |
7 | Loosen the screws (7) and remove the semi-trailer manual brake valve (1). | | |
8 | Install in reverse order. | If the valve shows any abnormalities, replace it. | |
9 | Pressurize the pneumatic system. | Run the engine until the opening pressure is reached. |
