1	Remove battery tray		AR54.00-P-0002FF
2	Unlock locking clip of electrical connector (1) and separate electrical connector (1)
Danger!	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates below the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
3.1	Raise vehicle with lifting platform	Only with transmission 717.474/475
4	Remove bolts (3)	 In vehicles with transmission 717.474/475, the bolts (3) are only accessible from underneath. With all other transmission variants the bolts (3) are accessible from above.

5.1	Lower vehicle	Only with transmission 717.474/475
6	Press fuel lines (5) slightly to the right and remove ESP control unit (N47-5) downwards off the hydraulic unit (2)	 Push fuel lines (5) to the right carefully in order to avoid damage due to kinking.
		 Installation: Carefully position the ESP control unit (N47-5) straight, otherwise there is a risk of damage to the pressure sensor (4), the connector (6) and the coils (7).
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Read out fault memory and program ESP control unit (N47-5)	 The ESP control unit (N47-5) is only programmed when it is replaced.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04FF
