1 | Electrical connector | 4 | Unlocking
2 | Bow | N30/8 | Regenerative braking system control unit
3 | Lock |
Always replace electrical connector (1) in the event of damage to the electrical connector (1), bracket (2) or lock (3).
Otherwise, the electrical connector (1) detaches from the regenerative braking system control unit (N30/8).
Disconnect electrical connection (1)
1 | Push lock (3) upwards (arrow) until the release (4) is exposed. |
2 | Press release (4), hold down, and swing bracket (2) upwards to the end stop. |
The swinging action of the bracket (2) pushes the electrical connector (1) slightly out of the socket in the regenerative braking system control unit (N30/8). Do not use tools. |
3 | Remove electrical connector (1) from regenerative braking system control unit (N30/8). |
Do not handle the electrical connector (1) at the bracket (2) when doing so. |
4 | Swing bracket (2) downwards until it locks in place and push lock (3) back over release (4). |
Connect electrical connector (1)
5 | Push lock (3) upwards (arrow) until the release (4) is exposed. |
6 | Press release (4), hold down, and swing bracket (2) upwards to the end stop. |
7 | Slide electrical connector (1) onto socket on regenerative braking system control unit (N308) until it makes contact evenly along its entire length. |
Do not handle the electrical connector (1) at the bracket (2) when doing so. |
8 | Swing bracket (2) downwards until it locks in place and push lock (3) back over release (4). |
This pulls the electrical connector (1) into its final position and locks it. |
