Remove rear center console

Remove bottom sections of noise encapsulation

Only remove center underbody paneling.

Move back brake cable of parking brake

Separate front brake cable (2) from right rear brake cable (3)

Installation: Ensure that the front brake cable (2) is correctly seated in the adjuster (5).

Separate front brake cable (2) from left rear brake cable (4)

Installation: Ensure that the left brake cable links (4) is correctly seated in the receptacle (Pfeil) on the front brake cable (2).

Detach front brake cable (2) from handbrake lever (1)

Installation: Ensure that the front brake cable (2) is correctly seated in the bracket on the handbrake lever (1).

Remove front brake cable (2) from underbody using removal tool (6)

Use removal tool (6) to press the plastic catches (arrows) together. Lift the floor mat slightly in order to fit the removal tool (6).

Installation: The front brake cable (2) must engage securely in the underbody.

Install in the reverse order
