Remove rear center console

Switch off the ignition otherwise the sensor in the airbag control module may be activated, triggering the airbag.

Detach front brake cable (3)

Unclip parking brake indicator switch (S12)

Unscrew bolts (2) and remove handbrake lever (1)

If the handbrake lever is disassembled, it must be ensured that the bracket on the brake cable is attached to the upper hole.

Install in the reverse order

Adjust parking brake
