1 | Remove wheel brake cylinder (8) | ||
2 | Remove bolt on control arm of linkage adjuster (3) | ||

4 | Remove washer (4) | ||
5 | Detach linkage adjuster (3) of brake shaft (2) | Mark the installation position of the linkage adjuster (3) and brake shaft (2) relative to each other. | |
6 | Detach spacer washers (1) from brake shaft (2) | ||

7 | Install wheel brake cylinder (8) | ||
8 | Push spacer washers (1) onto brake shaft (2) | ||
9 | Coat splines of brake shaft (2) with anticorrosion agent | ||
10 | Push linkage adjuster (3) onto brake shaft (2) | Note installation position. | |
11 | Push washer (4) onto brake shaft (2) | The adjusting lug of the washer (4) must match with bore in the brake shaft (2) | |
12 | Screw in bolts (7) | Coat the threads on the bolt (7) with locking compound. The linkage adjuster (3) must have play in the axial direction. If necessary correct the thickness of the spacer washers (1). | |

13 | Install clevis (5) of piston rod on linkage adjuster (3) | To do this, turn the worm screw (6) on the linkage adjuster (3) clockwise until the bore of the linkage adjuster (3) matches with the bore of the piston rod. The distance (a) between the flange-mounting surface of the wheel brake cylinder (8) and the center of the bore on the linkage adjuster (3) must be approx. 85 mm. Then push in the bolt and secure with a new split pin. | |
