Risk of accident when commissioning the vehicle due to a lack of braking effect when the service brake is operated for the first time after repair work.

Before starting the engine, actuate brake pedal several times until pressure is built up and maintained in the brake system.

Remove/install

Remove brake linings (6)

Remove bolts (1) and remove brake caliper support (2)

Remove bolts (7) and remove wheel flange ring (8)

 Counterhold wheel hub using assembly lever.

 Collar bolt, brake disk with wheel flange ring to wheel hub

Remove bolt (9)

 Position two wheel studs and, if necessary, use assembly lever to counterhold brake disk (10).

Remove brake disk (10)

 Installation: Check all detachable parts of brake disk (10) for wear and damage, replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order
