Identify and detach flex disk (12) from three-arm flange or four-arm flange

 Check flex disk (12) for damage and replace if necessary.

 Installation: Replace nut (14), shim (13) and bolt (11).



Loosen fitting sleeves on flexible couplings.

Detach front propeller shaft from rear propeller shaft at the slide connection

 Installation: Coat splined profile with Molykote grease: 

Connect sections of propeller shaft.

Checking

Check centering sleeve (10) in front and rear propeller shafts

 If lip in centering sleeve (10) is worn or damaged, the centering sleeve can be replaced separately. See: 

6.1

Remove centering sleeve (10)

 after checking:
