Remove/install

 Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Separate propeller shaft with splined shaft support (1a) from propeller shaft with splined shaft journal (2)

 The three-piece propeller shaft has two splined connections.

 Installation: Coat splined profile with Molykote grease: 

Remove rubber boot (4a) from propeller shaft with splined shaft fixture(1a)

Installation: Replace damaged rubber boot (4a) and check it is correctly seated.

Pull off rubber mount (7) with grooved ball bearing (8) and front protective cap

 Replace damaged rubber mount (7).
