1 Measure reference dimension (H1) from check point (K) to check point (k3) in longitudinal member.

To do so, use contact arm (01) for check point (K). Measure on left and right side in each case. If a screw is not turned to locate the contact arm in the weld nut, then turn a suitable screw (M1030) from the interior into the weld nut.

2 Measure reference dimension (H8) from check point (k3) in longitudinal member to check point (k6) in longitudinal member located opposite.

To do so use adapter (04) for the check point (k6). Measure on the left and right side in each case. If a step or trailer hitch, is mounted, turn the adapter (04) over and then use it.

3 Measure reference dimension (H9) from check point (k3) in longitudinal member to check point (k6) in longitudinal member.

To do so use adapter (04) for the check point (k6). Measure on the left and right side in each case.

If the tow hook is mounted for better locking of the adapter (04), insert suitable collar bolt with shim (for height adjustment) into the upper bore and secure using a nut.

If a step or trailer hitch, is mounted, turn the adapter (04) over and then use it.
