Remove front and rear wheels.

Submit run-flat tires for replacement.

Adjust tire pressure.

Balance front and rear wheels.

Attach front and rear wheels.

Connect vehicle diagnosis system, read out fault memory, and delete.



Check tire size of mounted tires in ABS control unit (4-channel) (A10/1).

If there is a deviation in tire size:



Change tire size in ABS control unit (4-channel) (A10/1).

Remove vehicle diagnosis system.

Print out coding plug table for maximum tire pressure.



Open electronics compartment at the bottom right of the instrument panel.

Check pin assignment in coding plug (10) at RDR control unit (A29) and compare with "Coding plug table for maximum tire pressure" and noted-down tire pressure.

If deviations in pin assignment are present:



Correct pin assignment in coding plug (10).

 When correcting the pin assignment, use  wiring harness repair kit supplement for trucks or  basic wiring harness repair kit.

Measure/adjust wheel angle.

Only when changing the tires from CODE R63 (Drop center rims 14x20) for 425/75R20 to another tire size or from one tire size to CODE R63 (Drop center rims 14x20) for 425/75R20.
