Remove/install

Secure vehicle at front axle using wheel chocks to prevent it from rolling away

Empty compressed air system completely

Detach wheels from leading axle

AR40.10-W-1100H

 Raise leading axle using applied lifting device.

Remove air lines (1) from left and right diaphragm brake cylinders

5

Detach left and right shock absorbers (4) from axle housing

 Nut, shock absorber to axle housing

Detach all spring U-bolts (9)

 Nut, spring U-bolt to axle housing

Lower leading axle and pull out under vehicle

Install in the reverse order
