2 Brake disc

3 Outer seal (side of the outside hub cap)

4 Inner seal / ABS ring (brake disc side)

5 Retaining ring

Disassembling

Remove the wheel hub from the drag axle

Detach the rear wheel hub (1) from the brake disc (2)

Immobilize the wheel hub (1) with a press to make removing the screws easier.

Remove the O-ring from the inner bearing channel (brake disc side)

Remove the outer seal (3) (outside hub cap side)

Remove the inner seal (4) (brake disc side)

Disengage the lock ring (5) and remove it

A thin screwdriver can assist in this operation.

Remove the rear wheel hub bearings (1)

Compact bearing.

Remove the wheel screws (6) from the rear wheel hub (1)

Only if replacing the screws is necessary.

Installing

Install the wheel screws (6) on the rear wheel hub (1)

If removed.

Install the bearings on the rear wheel hub (1) together with the retaining ring (5)

Install the outer seal (3)

Use a new seal.

Note the mounting position: the "ÖLSEITE / OILSIDE" words should point upward (out).

Using a mandrel is essential to the correct depth of the seal on the hub.

Install the inner seal (4)

Use a new seal.

Note the mounting position: the "FETTSEITE/GREASESIDE" words on the seal should point downward (in) and, therefore, the ABS ring outwards.

Using a mandrel is essential to the correct depth of the seal on the hub.

Install the O-ring on the inner bearing channel (brake disc side)

Use a new O-ring.

Install the brake disc (2) on the rear wheel hub (1)
