Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

Remove

1

Remove rear axle differential (1).

Press elastomer bearings (2) out of rear axle carrier (4).

 To press out elastomer bearings (2), use separate parts marked with A and C and spindle of   extraction  and insertion device.

Press elastomer bearing (3) out of removed rear axle differential (1).

 To press out elastomer bearing (3), use separate parts marked with A and C and spindle of   extraction  and insertion device.

Install

Press elastomer bearings (2) into rear axle carrier (4).


Do not swap elastomer bearings (2) and elastomer bearing (3).
Otherwise damage will occur.


The pressure at the hand pump must not exceed 140 bar during installation.
Otherwise, the elastomer bearings  (2) will be damaged.

 To press in elastomer bearings (2), use separate parts marked with B and E and spindle of    extraction  and insertion device.

 Position    hollow cylinder  (5) as shown in figure and press in elastomer bearings  (2) up to end stop.

 Coat elastomer bearings (2) with lubricating paste.

Press elastomer bearing (3) into removed rear axle differential (1).


Do not swap elastomer bearings (2) and elastomer bearing (3).
Otherwise damage will occur.


