Secure propeller shaft to prevent it from dropping down, and detach from rear axle

Detach collar nut (1)

 Installation: Install new collar nut (1).

 Collar nut of drive flange to drive pinion

Remove drive flange (2) and cover (3)

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (4)

 Installation: Coat the sealing lips on the radial shaft sealing ring (4) with hypoid gear oil.
