Remove/install radial shaft sealing ring of drive shaft

1	Collar nut
2	Activation flange
3	Protection plate
4	Radial seal

1	Remove transmission shaft from the drive flange (2)		AR41.10-B-0050TA
2	Unlock the collar nut (1)	 The locking tabs of the collar nut (1) must be completely cut off. Otherwise, small fragments can damage the groove of the screw when the collar nut (1) is removed.
		
3	Remove the collar nut (1)	 Do not use the impact tool to remove the collar nut (1). Otherwise the tapered roller bearings of the axle may be damaged.

4	Remove drive flange (2) and remove protection plate (3)	 Puller	*035589013300
5	Remove the radial seal(4) from the differential housing
	Check
6	Check the sealing surface of the drive flange (2) on the radial retainer area (4)	If the sealing surface of the drive flange (2) has damage or wear:
		
		A new drive flange (2) and a new protection plate (3) must be installed.
	Install
7	Install a new radial retainer (4) on the differential housing	 Handle	*748589051502

8	Install drive flange (2) with the protection plate (3)	 Installation: Lightly oil the bearing surface on the drive flange (2).
9	Install a new collar nut (1)	 Do not use the impact tool to install the collar nut (1). Otherwise the tapered roller bearings of the axle may be damaged.
