Remove/install

Loosen and remove the screw (3) and the locking plate (4)

 Installation: Tighten with the specified tightening torque.

   Lock plate to the axle casing

Remove the threaded ring (1)

 Remove using key for assembly (5) and torque multiplier (6).

 Installation: Clean the thread of the threaded ring (1), apply sealant product on the thread and tighten the threaded ring (1) with the specified tightening torque.

Remove the shaft (2) of the longitudinal differential

 Installation: Mount new seals on the threaded ring (1) and lubricate the lips of the seals.
Be careful not to damage the seals during installation.
