Insertion tool

Use the following individual tools of the installing tool set to install the radial shaft sealing ring:
Pressure piece (1), with the end number 01;
Assembling sleeve (2), with the end number 02;
Pressure spindle (3), with the end number 03;
Counter nut (4);
Threaded bushing (5), with the end number 05.
Installation of the tool |
1 | Install the pressure spindle (3) up to the threaded end (A) in the assembling sleeve (2), and in this position, lock the pressure spindle with the counter nut (4). |

2 | Install the assembling sleeve (2) with the pressure spindle (3) up to the stop on the pinion shaft (11) in the differential housing (8), and then, loosen the assembling sleeve (2) 1/4 turn. |
3 | Install the radial shaft sealing ring (7) in the differential housing (8). |
4 | Align the radial shaft sealing ring (7) in parallel and centralized way. |

5 | Install the pressure piece (1) on the radial shaft sealing ring (7) on the pressure spindle (3). |
Do not press the radial shaft sealing ring (7) in the cavity of the differential housing (8). |
6 | Install the threaded bushing (5) on the pressure spindle (3) up to the stop on the pressure piece (1). |

7 | Using proper tools, turn the threaded bushing (5) clockwise, avoiding, at same time, turning the pressure spindle (3). |
Note the evenly alignment (B) of the radial shaft sealing ring (7) in the axle housing (8). |
8 | Remove the threaded bushing (5) and the pressure piece (1). |

9 | Do not remove the assembling bushing (2) with the pressure spindle (3) of the pinion (11) from the axle housing (8). |
It will be used for installation of the drive flange. |
