Remove the differential assembly (13)

Install the differential assembly (13) on the assembly device (14)

 Attaching the center differential on a device or another similar system makes the access to the components easier.

Loosen the lock nut (10) and remove the set screw (11) and the sliding pad (9)

Remove the screws (1) and the locking plates (2)

Remove the threaded rings (5), the screws (4) and the bearing cap (3)

Remove the crown with the differential (8)

Remove the tapered roller bearing races (6)



Install

Install the ring gear (8) and the races of the tapered roller bearings (6) in the differential carrier (12)

Install the bearing cap (3)

Install the screws (4) and secure the bearing cap (3)

Install the threaded rings (5)

 Until they touch the outer races of the bearings.
