Secure vehicle against rolling

The rear axle shaft (9) can also be removed with wheels attached.

Remove screws (6)

Remove end cover (7)

Collect escaping oil in a suitable container.

Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and install new gasket.

Pull out rear axle shaft (9)

If necessary apply a few light blows to the rear wheel hub (5) using a plastic mallet so that the rear axle shaft (9) works loose from the gearing.

Install in the reverse order

Check rear axle oil level and correct if necessary
