Extractor and insertion tool
Pull out wheel bearing
1 | Attach parts of extraction and insertion tool to wheel carrier (5). |
2 | Pull wheel bearing (9n) out of wheel carrier (5) by turning bolt with collar nut (08a), and remove. |

Press in wheel bearing
3 | Position wheel bearing (9n), wheel carrier (5) and drift (01) on workshop press. |
Pay attention to installation position. The dots or the line (arrow) on the wheel bearing (9n) must point toward the wheel carrier (5). |
Use suitable horizontal base for support during pressing procedure. |
4 | Press wheel bearing (9n) all the way into wheel carrier (5) by operating workshop press. |
The wheel bearing (9) is seated correctly when the pressure on the workshop press's display increases constantly. |
