1 | Remove the bell hub (9) with planetary carriers (1) | ||
2 | Remove the planetary carriers (1) from the bell hub (9) | Mark the mounting position of the planetary carrier (1) in relation to the bell hub (9). | |
3 | Remove the external thrust washers (7) | ||
4 | Remove the planetary carriers (4) from the bearing pin (3) | Watch that the bearing needles (6) and the intermediate rings (5) are loose. | |
5 | Remove the internal thrust washers (2) and the lock washers (8) from the planetary carrier | ||
6 | Remove the bearing pin (3) from the planetary carrier (1) | ||
| Assembling | ||
7 | Fit the bearing pin (3) from the planetary carrier (1) | Lubrication holes of bearing pins (3) should be facing out. | |
8 | Install the lock washer (8) in the planetary carrier (1) | ||
9 | Install the internal thrust washers (2) on the bearing pins (3) | Lubrication grooves of the internal thrust washers (2) must be adjusted to the planetary gear (4). Align the thrust washers (2) so that they are adjusted to the lock washers (8) and are locked by the lock washers. | |
10 | Install the planetary gears (4) centered on the bearing pins (3) | The planetary gears (4) and the bearing pins (3) have different mounting allowance identified by colors. Note that the color of the planetary gear must match the color of the respective bearing pin, i.e., the parts must have the same color coding. | |
11 | Grease the bearing needles (6) and intermediate rings (5) and install the planetary gear (4) | During installation, drive the bearing needles (6) with a gage. | |
12 | Install the external thrust washers (7) on the planetary gear (4) | Lubrication grooves of the external thrust washers (7) must be adjusted to the planetary gear (4). | |
13 | Install the planetary carriers (1) from the bell hub (9) | Observe the marking made during disassembling and use the new mounting screws. | |
