 	Remove/install
1	Drain oil from rear axle.
			AP35.00-W-3501H
2	Remove wheels from the rear axle.		AR40.10-W-1100H
		 After jacking up, leave the lifting device positioned at the rear axle.
3	Empty compressed-air system completely.
4	Remove left and right anti-lock braking system (ABS) rpm sensors.		AR42.30-W-0140H
5	Disconnect electrical connector from brakepad wear sensor (3) at left and right.
6	Detach plug from interwheel differential lock indicator switch (13).
7	Remove two compressed-air lines each from left and right combination brake cylinder.		AR42.10-W-0900H
8	Remove compressed-air line and bleed line from interwheel differential lock shift cylinder (14).		AR42.10-W-0900H
9	Disconnect electrical connector from temperature sensor (4).
10	Remove compressed-air distributor and all line brackets attached to rear axle and fasten at side to frame.
11	Remove air suspension sensor linkage (5) from rear axle at left and right.
12	Remove propeller shaft from drive flange of rear axle and secure against falling down using tensioning straps.		AR41.10-W-0050H
13	Remove left and right shock absorber (7) from rear axle.	 Shock absorber to rear axle air suspension	*BA32.25-N-1003-03M
14	Detach bearing cap (10) from left and right air suspension supports (11) and swing stabilizer link (12) downwards.	 Installation: Replace bolts (9).
		 Bearing cap of stabilizer link to air suspension bellows carrier	*BA32.35-N-1001-03L
15.1	Remove upper trailing arms (2) from bearing bracket on rear axle.	With 4x2 semitrailer trucks
		 Installation: Replace screw/bolts (6).
		 Trailing arm at top to bearing bracket on rear axle	*BA35.15-N-1012-03G
15.2	Remove wishbone control arm (15) from bearing bracket on rear axle.	Not with 4x2 semitrailer trucks
		 Installation: Replace screw/bolts (6).
		 Wishbone control arm to bearing bracket on rear axle	*BA35.15-N-1001-03G
16	Lower rear axle and pull out from under the vehicle.
17	Check thread of stud bolts (16).	Only on rear axle with bearing bracket (B).
		If thread is damaged,
		
		replace affected stud bolt (16).
		 Stud bolt to bearing bracket on rear axle	*BA35.15-N-1008-03G
18	Remove both air suspension supports (11) from rear axle.	Only when replacing the rear axle.
		 Installation: Attach air suspension supports with new screws.
		 Air suspension bellows carrier on rear axle (steel axle housing)	*BA32.22-N-1002-03I

19	Install in the reverse order
