 	Remove/install
 Installation	Replace self-locking nuts and bolts.
1	Remove wheels		AR40.10-W-1100A
2	Support vehicle on its frame
3	Support rear axle
4	Remove propeller shaft (21) at rear axle flange	  Secure propeller shaft against falling.	*BA41.10-N-1002-01F

5	Disconnect plug (17)	Only on vehicles with code (Y88) Flexible Service System.
6	Pull off vent hose (13)
7	Detach ALB linkage (4)
8	Detach compressed air line (1) and connector (2)	Only on vehicles with code (A71) Rear axle differential lock.
9	Separate connector (18)	Only on vehicles with code (B02) ABS brake system.  Label connector.
10	Detach brake lines (15, 16)	 Mark brake lines relative to connections.
11	Detach connector (14) for parking brake inspection
12	Detach damper (5) from bearing bracket (11)		*BA32.25-N-1001-03G
13	Detach anti-sway bar (8) from bearing bracket (11)		*BA32.35-N-1001-03E
14	Remove bearing bracket (11)		*BA35.10-N-1001-03F
15	Remove spring U-bolt (3)		*BA32.20-N-1001-03F
16	Lower rear axle and take out under the vehicle	 Installation: lightly grease mounting bores for center bolts with leaf spring grease. Raise rear axle so that the center bolts settle into the mounting holes.	*BR00.45-Z-1020-06A
17	Install in the reverse order
