2 | Remove front axle shaft (3) | ||
| Disassemble/assemble | ||
3 | Remove large hose clamp (5, 9) and small hose clamp (7, 11) using a suitable tool | ||
4 | Detach inner rubber boot (6) from inner joint (2) and outer rubber boot (10) from outer joint (8) | Observe the filling capacities of the inner rubber boot (6) and outer rubber boot (10). | |

5 | Knock out the outer joint (8) | ||
6 | Detach inner rubber boot (6) and outer rubber boot (10) from front axle shaft (3) | Removal: The inner rubber boot (6) can only be removed when the outer joint (8) has been knocked out | |
Installation: To push on the rubber boots, place suitable assembly sleeve on the splined shaft profile of the front axle shaft (3). | |||
7 | Replace circlip (1, 4). | ||
8 | Assemble in the reverse order | ||
